Baby Boomers Will Drive Real Estate Growth

Those born in the baby boomer are people in the United States born between 1946 and 1964. Approximately 78.2 million people fall into this category. As a group, those born in the baby boomer cohort covering the largest population in the history of the United States. Group size gets large influence on American politics, popular culture, and of course real estate. To assess the influence of those born in the baby boom in the future of real estate, the national association of realtors (NAR) conducted a study in 2006. The research results were published in baby boomer born in the given law and real estate Report: Today and tomorrow. Below are some highlights of the NAR study.AGE DISTRBUTIONAccording the NAR report, born in the baby boomer age now extend from 42 to 60 years. The baby boomers born in the typical 50 years and older than those born in the baby boomer turned 60 in 2006. The approximately 46% of babies in the baby boomer in her 40s, and about 25% are at least 55 years. Household income to the group, born in the baby boomer years are in their maximum profit. The approximately 96% of babies in the baby boomer believe that home ownership is good REAL ESTATE Financial PURCHASESAbout 10% investment.FUTURE, or 7.8 million of all those born in the baby boomers said they were likely to buy real estate additional 12 months. Of these potential buyers, two thirds were planning on purchasing a primary residence, the 26% want to buy land, 19% want to rent the property, 15% want a vacation home or seasonal home and 14% want FEATURES ATTRACT property.WHAT a commercial for those born in the baby boom were asked why BOOMERSWhen features are most important to them, 38% wanted a cheaper of life, 38% wanted to be the immediate family of dear easy access to 38% of health care quality, 37% wanted a better climate, and 36% wanted to be near a body of the community asked that those born in the baby boom AMENITIESWhen about the type of amenities community that are interested more, about 18% wanted to be close to cultural offerings, 9% of water.PREFERRED wanted to be closer to his family, 4% wanted to be on a golf course and easy access querida 3% facilities.WHERE educational BORN TO MAKE THE BABY-BOOM WANT to those born in the baby boom RETIREWhen were asked where they want to withdraw, 33% want him to retire in a rural area, 30% in a small town, 25% in a suburban area, and only 12% in an urban community.BOOMERS AND born in the baby-boom real estate AGENTSBaby of constant use the services of a real estate agent.
